The Inner life of Vishnujana Swami
and Jayananda Prabhu.

Vaiyasaki DasHaribol! My name is Vaiyasaki Das. I am an initiated disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami who introduced Krishna Kirtan to the western world in 1965 in New York City. During the next 12 years he circled the globe introducing Kirtan and Vedic culture in fulfillment of an ancient prophesy that Krishna Kirtan would spread to every town and village of the world.

Here you will find an excellent source of information about the sacred tradition of kirtan, or the call-and-response chanting of the Divine Names of God. Please also take a look at the many Kirtan & Bhajan CD's I have produced over the years. They include traditional Bengali bhajans, and numerous Hare Krishna melodies. New Feature: Watch Live Kirtans by Vaiyasaki Das!

In 1999 I completed my first book which is the story of the fulfillment of the ancient prophesy that Krishna Kirtan would be spread world wide from India to the West and then back to the East. The story is revealed through the eyes of Vishnujana Swami and Jayananda Prabhu, two American devotees who embraced the culture of Krishna Kirtan and helped to spread Mantra Meditation throughout the United States.

The book, Radha-Damodara Vilasa, is available here.

Srila Prabhupada

I would like to take this opportunity to offer my respectfull obeisances and thank my spiritual master Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who introduced me to the tradition of Kirtan. Srila Prabhupada was an expert musician, singer, and a great devotee of Krishna. His example of devotion to Krishna was illustrated by his tireless efforts to spread Krishna kirtan, or mantra meditation, all over the world.
